Cristiano Ronaldo was born the 5th of February, 1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.  Son of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. He has three siblings,  Hugo, Elma and Liliana Cátia, and he is the youngest. Cristiano Ronaldo comes from a humble family. As a child he always wanted to play soccer. In school, he was discriminated by his teacher because his teacher always said to him that soccer was not important, what was important was to, study. When he was 10 years old, Cristiano was observed by Talinhas, his first coach of the club. They saw that Cristiano was undernourished so they told his parents that they should give him a better diet because playing soccer required a good diet.
